Located in Santa Cruz Amilpas, a small traditional pueblo just a few minutes’ drive from Oaxaca centro – the innovative, newly built “industrial rustic” art studios of Pedro Cruz Pacheco and Corrie McCluskey. We offer art + culture workshops, personalized art retreats, and art classes, with instruction in watercolor, mixed media, collage, and art journaling to travelers.

Pedro is Oaxaqueño, and Corrie is a transplanted Californian. Together, we love to share our insiders’ perspective on the art, culture, and traditions of this magical place with travelers who crave an art adventure.

Magical, inspiring, hands-on, featuring guided experiences, field trips to far flung artisan pueblos for art and culture, total creative and cultural immersion in a bilingual, bicultural environment. Practice your Spanish while learning art with us! We’ll pick you up from downtown Oaxaca and bring you to our studios.
Oaxaca Art Classes
Do you need to feed your creative soul? Fill it to the brim with creative transformation and fresh inspiration, memories to last a lifetime. Join a small group of travelers for a magical art + culture immersion workshop in Oaxaca, Mexico where you’ll meet a rich culture that celebrates creativity and traditions.
Our workshops are different. Art instruction is combined with carefully curated private field trips (led by Corrie) where we meet master artists and artisans in their studios out in the far flung pueblos, sit with them to hear their stories, get to know their process and cultural traditions, share an intimate afternoon with them. Galería Talismán Oaxaca está ubicada en Santa Cruz Amilpas, a solo minutos del centro de Oaxaca: son los innovadores estudios de arte “rústicos industriales” de nueva construcción de Pedro Cruz Pacheco y Corrie McCluskey.
Le invitamos a programar una visita al estudio durante el horario comercial o con cita previa. Talismán Oaxaca ofrece talleres de arte para grupos y retiros de arte privados, y clases de arte personalizadas con instrucción individual en acuarela, técnicas mixtas, collage y diarios de arte para viajeros. Brindamos inmersión creativa para estudiantes de por vida, aventuras artísticas y una inmersión profunda en la cultura de Oaxaca en nuestros talleres de arte de una semana de duración para grupos pequeños.
